How Do I Report?

Report Corruption
If you notice an instance of corruption around you, take the time to report it. This includes bribery, cheating, overcharging, forcible donations, extortion, scams, harassment in government offices and anything else where you feel something’s fishy.

In your report, include information such as city, location, amount, name of the person involved and any other details that are relevant. You are encouraged to attach pictures and videos too! Your email address or phone number is kept confidential. So don't worry, your identity will not be revealed.

There are three really simple methods to share your stories about corruption.

Email
Send a detailed report via email with city, problem and name of person involved to email@corruptionfree.in. If possible, attach a picture with your email. Your subject line should summarize the problem. View Examples

SMS
Send your detailed report via SMS with city, problem and name of person involved to 8446324670. View Examples

Twitter

Send your report as a tweet! Just mention #cf<your city> in your tweet! View Examples

  24. would be nice if this website is integrated with the website indiaagainstcorruption.org (Some tab or some link)

    That keeps it easier for users to unite,

    (having multiple websites creates a bit of problem)

    ReplyDelete
  25. Also, it would be nice to be able to report corruption directly from the site too.

  26. Hi Aditya, nice job. your website is good and looks like a blog bcoz a "Navigation Bar" is displaying on top of the site. So, you can just write down a line of code, it will remove naigation bar from your site...... #navbar{ display:none; } copy this line and paste it in your blog spot desing in HTML view. So, you site will look like a site not as blog...
    you can also remove unnecessary things like "Subscribe to: Posts (Atom)" , "Home", and "Awesome Inc. template. Powered by Blogger. " just go to help center of blogspot.

    1>Provide marathi/devnagari/indian language interface
    2>create a map interface: so all complaints are geo-referred
    3> Provide for a few days of time for verification/rebuttal by affected (accused). This can be a headline made public and main news being available only under password. Send the password to accused. If response come , take a look, then decide what to do.
    4>create a section : modus operandi : how corruption happens and how systematically it is allowed
    5>create a section: Solution best practice: here describe the sure shot ways to expose : photographs/videos etc

    Thank you.

  57. People talk against corruption but do not come forward to report it,at times for their own benefit they give bribe and get away.
    Congratulation because you have taken at least one step forward,you are giving them a platform to expose the corruption they faced.
    Wish you all success we are with you.

  91. Good initiative and good work.
    I have to appreciate it.

    Open complaint.
    ----------------
    When one sells/buys a property anywhere in India, the property is registered for less value and people are avoiding to pay tax.
    Registrar is getting money or the agent is arranging this type of settlement etc is happening. Even politicians are doing this.
    Will you be able to stop this. You can easily handle this if some one goes to registration office and finds who are all registering property on that day or immediate future. Immediately raid either seller or buyer of that property.

    I have plans to expose this type of activities to the world in the future.
    If someone initiates this activity, I will really support them.

    http://www.corruptionwatch.org.za/content/who-we-are

    Corruption Watch:

    collects and analyses information to spot patterns and hotspots of corruption;

    exposes corrupt behaviour;

    enlists partner organisations and individuals to take a stand against corruption;

    investigates, commissions and publicises research reports on corruption;

    harnesses the power of the public through social media for South Africans to recognise, prevent, and stand up to corruption;

    works, in select cases, with law enforcement agencies, the media and other stakeholders to investigate allegations of individual acts of corruption;

    monitors the progress of selected, important cases; and

    will strengthen the accountability of those – in both the public and private sectors – who are in a position to influence the deployment of, and access to, public resources.
